Do you long for your life to look more like Christ's, free from fear, shame, and bitterness? Do you want to fulfill the destiny for which you were created and live each day with eternal purpose? Finding the more can be found on the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16). 

Ancient Paths Discipleship was founded by Dr. Brandee Loftis after discovering the difference between a relationship with God and following the Christian religion, and learning to study the Bible in its original culture and languages. It was the more she was looking for, and she is confident it will be the more you are searching for as well! 

APD teaches the Bible from the original languages and culture, so we can be rooted and grounded in a truth that never changes, despite shifting cultural trends and beliefs. All teaching is rooted in Hebraic thought and soul-healing principles. Combined, this way of teaching reconnects us back to the way God intended the Bible to be read and interpreted and transforms our inner man so that we reflect the life of Jesus.

Dr. Brandee came to a saving faith in Jesus Christ in her late 20s after the birth of her son. She began pursuing Jesus through His Word and fell in love with Bible study. This love led her to get a Master's and a Doctorate from Louisiana Baptist University. The seeds of teaching were planted in her at fifteen and have now blossomed into the desire to mentor, teach, and equip others to study the Bible at the deepest level possible and to have an intimate relationship with God that grows them into mature disciples. 

Dr. Brandee has been married to her husband, John, for 27 years. They have one young adult son and a dog named Treehouse, who is her constant Bible study companion. They live in Hendersonville, TN, and attend Long Hollow Church.
